                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 
                  LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF 
                  CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, HAMILTON COUNTY, 
                  TENNESSEE, AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA 
                  FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT WILLOW STREET AND EAST 
                  TWENTY-THIRD STREET SO AS TO EXTEND THE LEASE 
                  PERIOD AN ADDITIONAL TWENTY-FIVE (25) YEARS, 
                  SAID PROPERTY BEING USED AS THE UNITED STATES 
                  ARMY RESERVE CENTER.
                  
                  
                                                     
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized an 
       amendment to the lease agreement between the City of Chattanooga, 
       Tennessee, Hamilton County, Tennessee, and the United States of 
       America for property owned jointly by the City of Chattanooga and 
       Hamilton County, located at Willow Street and East Twenty-Third 
       Street, so as to extend the lease period an additional 25 years, 
       said property being used as the United States Army Reserve Center.
